This project provides an integrated approach to sustainable urbanization and resilient growth within the Twelve Upazila region of Bangladesh, a country currently navigating a period of rapid and transformative urbanization. While cities are powerful engines of economic growth, their often unplanned expansion encroaches upon hazard-prone areas, increasing the vulnerability of communities to natural disasters and climate change, a challenge compounded by scarce land and gaps in urban governance. This initiative directly confronts these issues in a region poised for significant shifts due to the establishment of the nation's third seaport. Our vision is to guide the area's development towards a future that is economically vibrant, environmentally sustainable, and socially inclusive. The new seaport presents a monumental opportunity, but it also risks accelerating the very patterns of unplanned development that have proven detrimental elsewhere, leading to the loss of invaluable agricultur
