Mini Tara Pilot Testing Project sponsored by UNICEF and executed by DPHE is a project for alternative economic technology in the areas where traditional Hand Tubewells no. 6 pumps are inoperable due to lowering of water table beyond the suction limit. The project is aimed to evaluate the performance of its reliability to its technical aspects and its acceptability to the users. The consultancy services for the project are to monitor the rejuvenation process of no. 6 pumps to Mini Tara and thereby the long term performance of the pumps for its durability, operation and maintenance.
